I reciently learned of this place unfortunately they are only open to the public during a short period of ti me for specific tours and this years tours are full. I'll be keeping an eye out next year to try and get a spot on one of the tours. If you remember, keep your eye out also.
Djerassi Resident Artists: Located in the redwood forest of Santa Cruz Mountains you will find a 580 acre ranch with 50 sculptures on site as of 2010. Tours offered Mid April - Late October, reservations required. There are five Directors tours and two Two Mile tours (free tour) offered. Sign up early because they do fill up. The Directors tour lasts 4.5 hours, covers 3 miles, shows 25 sculptures and costs $50 or the Two Mile tour lasts 2 hours, covers 15 sculptures and is FREE. As of Sept all free tours are full and there is only one Directors tour with openings. Watch for the 2011 schedule starting in Feb/March, 2011 if your not able to make the Sept 26 tour or you only want to do the free tour.
