Record Frames, if you don't listen to them any longer, frame them

I couldn't get my husband to get rid of his record albums.  I even purchased him a turntable so he could load them onto the computer and put them on his iPod.  I later found out he was interested in making them electronic but that didn't mean he was going to get rid of the albums.

Since I knew they were here to stay I had him sort through them and pick out his favorite covers.  Some are quite artistic, graphic, artsy or just bring back great memories.  Then I purchased frames and hung them in our garage.  They look great.

I originally purchased wallartz frames but at $20 a piece the four frames added up quickly ($80 + tax + shipping/handling).  The URL no longer seems to work (http://www.therecordframe.com/) so you would have to look elsewhere.  These frames looked the best because they have a mat.  A mat really makes a difference, making them look more like art vs framed albums.  These frames are great but since they are in my garage the one's I bought next were from Aaron Brothers for about $15 for two.  Be sure to look for their sales to get this deal.  You can also get them at Michael's Craft store for a reasonable price.
