Spice Rack

I use to keep all my spices in a small plastic basket.  Now I keep them on this rotating spice rack on the counter.  Not all the spices in the rack were one's I used so I relabeled the one's I didn't use and put in my favorite spices.  Now it works out perfectly, I can easily see what's running low, I don't purchase duplicates and the plastic bin is only for those odd ball spices or refills for the jars.

The only tiny problem I have with the rack I own is you need to make sure the lids are closed because sometimes they don't shut properly.

3/3/2011 Update:  Although this isn't the exact holder I have the jars are the same and the lids are poor quality.
  1. They don't close properly, so sometimes they pop open or won't close all the way.
  2. If you open the jars, spices that have gotten stuck in the lid fall out.  I would like to be able to open the jar and use my measuring spoon to get in the jar.  A sprinkle lid isn't needed for most spices because unlike salt and pepper you want to measure out a certain amount.
  3. Since some of the spices were not spices I use often I wanted this rack to only contain spices I frequently use.  Since I have my own label maker I made new labels but they don't stick well to the lids.  Any label should stick or they should provide replacement labels with the original purchase.
On a positive note I like the fact that all my frequently used spices are handy and in one place.
