Bee Block: During one of my gardening classes I learned about the importance of peaceful non-aggressive Mason bees. If your garden isn't flowering like you want or your trees are not producing enough fruit then try attracting more pollinators. Mason bees like to live in little holes. You can take a wooden block and drill various size holes in it to create a home for these bees. But according to the teacher it took him about 2 hours to create one of these blocks. So to save time and money I think it's just easier to purchase this block from Gardener's Supply Company, Item# 37-481. It's only $16.95 and it's a lot more attractive than the block that took the guy 2 hours to make. It has even gone up $2.00 since I tore it out of the magazine but it is still better than making one yourself.
