No Touch Soap Dispenser

I love my SimpleHuman soap dispenser I purchased for my kitchen.  I hated when I wanted to wash my chicken juiced hands and was forced to touch something to only have to clean it up later.  With this soap dispenser I only have to wave my hands under it like you see in restaurant bathrooms and out comes the soap.  And for under $40 it was well worth it.

The only problem I have is its location.  Mine sits at my kitchen sink, in a window so when the afternoon sun shines in the window it can hinder the sensor.  To solve that just cup your hands around it to block the light.  If you don't have a sunshine issue where it sits you won't have this problem.

The one I purchased is stainless steel looking.  Pictured below is the one in black.  You can purchase them online or at you local home store, eg. Bed Bath and Beyond, Williams Sonoma, etc.

Liquid Soap Dispenser: Item# 25768, $13.95 from Chefs Catalog. The difference in this dispenser is that it turns the soap into a foam by adding a bit of water. I would think this would extend the life of your liquid soap.
