In Search of a Bed for our Spare Bedroom

I have been looking for some time now, for a bed, for our spare bedroom.  I have the mattress and the bed frame just no headboard and/or foot board.  The other furniture in that room is a leftover mismatch but at least one piece of it I can't get rid of.  Unfortunately both pieces are wood heavy and not really practical.

I have a hope chest that was my grandmothers.  It is a Lane piece, I have refinished it so it looks pretty nice it just doesn't fit at the end of the bed like I would have liked.  Instead I had to put it against the wall as you walk in the door, to your right.  Next to that is another antique vanity piece.  This one has no sentimental value, it's cute, it has been refinished but the veneer is falling off around the mirror so it doesn't look perfect like I would like.  It could however be a piece that a quest could sit at and put on their makeup.

These two pieces create a wall of wood which I don't like.  I'm afraid that a large wooden bed will really overwhelm the space, but if I go white wood it won't match and if I go metal will dust be an issue.  SO, here is what I have found so far.  I'm hoping if I gather all my choices in one place it will help me see what I want to purchase.

Home Decorators, Tufted Princess upholstered headboard, Item# 04684 for $350 + $50 shipping.  I like the Linen sandstone and the pearl.  I request fabric samples for several colors.

UPDATE:  The Princess tuffed headboard was my final choice.  It was inexpensive, great quality and matched my room perfectly.  Best of all since it is inexpensive I won't feel guilty if in a few years I wish to change it out.

Potterybarn, Seagrass headboard Item: 4865226 for $795 in Havana  Dark weave.  The lighter weave isn't as nice.  I like that the dark one has a bit of black in it, not so easter basket looking.
