Pub Crawls are crawling all over SF

Pub Crawls seem to be crawling all over the city.  Locals may not always appreciate it but I bet the owners love it cause it sure can bring in the business.  As in the case a few weeks ago when we were in the Marina district it can be a bit annoying when all you want is a cold cocktail and every bar is crazy packed with barely any standing room let alone a path up to the bar to get a drink.  But if your prepared for it or are in on it, they can be a blast.  The first one I went on started at Ghirardelli Square and ended in North Beach.  For write up, click here.  We had a blast, the only thing I would recommend is to stick with what you normally drink or at least stick to the same booze.  You will end up in trouble if you try the speciality in each spot.  Also it is best when there is distance between each place so you can walk some off and if food is available, grab a few snacks along the way.  Then ENJOY!

The latest Pub Crawl I found out about is this weekend in the Mission, cost is $8 and it will be hitting the following locations.  This weekend 8/20/2011 is also the Street Food Festival so be mentally prepared for packed sidewalks and roads.
  • Elbo Room
  • Blondies
  • Skylark
  • Dellirum
  • Pork Store Cafe
  • Elizir
  • Double Dutch
