All Purpose Cleaner

I have been using this all purpose cleaner for since June 2006.   I purchased the essential oils and castille soap from Mountain Rose Herbs for $30.25, it was cheaper than Whole Foods even with the shipping costs.  I got my spray bottle at Bed Bath and Beyond for $5 adn the hydrogen peroxide and vinegar at CVS/Longs for another $5 or so.  It's now August 2010 and I still have product left to make more cleaner.  I'll need to buy more hydrogen peroxide soon but the essential oils will last for years to come.

Since I clean the shower while taking one, it is nice not breathing in the harsh chemicals and wondering how bad it was for me to be in the shower while cleaning with these sprays. I also wondered how it was affecting my feet, was it drying out m heals?  Now I feel like I’m making a salad while cleaning the shower. It's a wonderful cleaner, it does a good job, it's good for the environment and me and I'm saving money.  What more can I ask for.  Don’t worry about the vinegar smell it does dissipate.

ALL PURPOSE CLEANER
2 C. water
½ C. distilled white vinegar
1 t. pure castile soap
¾ C. hydrogen peroxide
20 drops tea tree oil
20 drops of lavender or lemongrass essential oil

Add water to the 32-ounce spray bottle. Add the vinegar, castile soap, hydrogen peroxide, tea tree oil and lavender or lemongrass essential oil. Lavender for the bathroom spray and lemongrass for the kitchen, so make two separate bottles at the same time.
Note: This spray is suitable for acrylic, ceramic tile, wood, marble and granite. Since your use to all the strong toxic sprays it will take a couple of uses to realize that the strong harsh smells are not necessary. You can also purchase peppermint castile soap.
