I have been looking for a magnifying mirror for a month or so now. I originally went to Restoration Hardware and to my surprise one that hung on the wall was about $170-200. I was shocked but then found that even at Bed Bath and Beyond there wasn't much difference in price. I was thinking of spending no more than $50 so I thought I would either hold off, look for a free standing model or a hand held mirror.
The when I was at Costco yesterday I found this one for $19.99. It not only was the finish I was looking for, it lit up and it was daylight light. What a deal. Now I not only get the help with the magnification but I can also double check my makeup to make sure I don't look like a clown when I hit the sunlight. The only problem I found with it, which is not really the mirror's fault, is that you can become totally obsessed and scared off by what you see when your face is magnified.
I did find what looks to be the same mirror on Costco online only difference is it was 2x more magnified and it came with a pocket version also (as pictured below) but it was $79.99 not including tax and shipping. WOW that must be the best pocket mirror ever.....NOT worth an extra $60 no matter how good it is.
Head to Costco now if you need a mirror because you know how it is, things don't last forever.
