Beverage Dispenser

One thing I have been looking to purchase for myself is a beverage dispenser with a metal spout.  I have seen many with plastic spouts but I think metal would be better.  The only reason I haven't purchased one yet is because I'm trying to make sure this is something that is worth storing since it's not something you would use very often.  Heck I have a punch bowl that I may use once a year.  It doubles as a cake dome but I've only used it for that once since I've owned it.  I feel like I'm already talking myself out of this purchase.  But until I do I'm going to make a list of possible dispenser purchases.

1)  This one is by RSH Catalog #19279 for $89, Holds 2 gallons and stands 24" high with a silver plated dispenser.  I like this one also because the spicket sets up on a base.  If you don't get one with a base or get a separate base you have to hang it off a table in order to get your glass under it.
The second one I found was from the same place RSH but it indicates it has alloy spigot which makes me question the first one being silver plated.  I'll have to make sure it's not silver plated plastic.  This measures 20"h x 10"sq, #15599 and is $125.  I like how the top has a larger opening so you can put in a large ice ring or larger fruit.

The next one is from Pottery Barn.  It doesn't say if it has a metal spicket so I need to very that before I make a choice.  The only problem with this one is that you need to purchase a separate stand or you have to hang it off the table in order to get your glass under it which doesn't make sense.  Item # 8978348.  I have seen wooden stands in the store and in their catalog they have a cool skeleton hand set to hold this dispenser but it is not on line.  Maybe it was a defective product.

Here is one from Fresh Finds, Item# F3317.  Again I don't know if this one has a metal dispenser but I liked the shape.  It is $49.95.  This same dispenser can be found at Wine Enthusiast for the same price.  So if there are other things you want from this catalog you can save on shipping.  Item# 787-0101

I like the fact that you can see through a beverage dispenser because you not only see when it's empty but you can also decorate it by adding fruits.  The Florentine Beverage Dispenser is from Frontgate, Item #41677 for $199.  What I liked about this is you can heat the ceramic piece in the oven to keep hot beverages hot.

UPDATE:  I ended up purchasing one at Costco for about $30-40.  It basically looked like the one from Pottery Barn just the opening on the top  was smaller.  Best of all it was less than half the price.
