Here are some free and/or cheap weekend plans that I found today along with a couple of other options. I haven't been up on the What's Happening section of my blog the last couple of weeks because I was immersed in my Halloween party planning. Now that that is behind me it is time to get back on track and going forward it will continue to post on Mondays starting Nov. 22.

Musee d' Orsay at the de Young Museum in SF, GG park; 50 Hagiwara Tea Garden Drive
If you are a Bank of America card holder here is your chance to save the $25 admission fee this weekend. Get some culture in your live. The second of two exhibitions from the Musée d’Orsay’s permanent collection, Van Gogh, Gauguin, Cézanne and Beyond: Post-Impressionist Masterpieces from the Musée d’Orsay follows on the heels of the first with a selection of the most famous late-Impressionist paintings by Claude Monet and Auguste Renoir, as well as works representing the individualist styles of the early modern masters, including Vincent van Gogh, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Paul Gauguin, and the Nabis Pierre Bonnard and Édouard Vuillard.

Pixar Exhibit Day at the Oakland Museum,
Tix are timed and will sell out so get there early, however per the web they are already not available so it may be too late for free. If so I would suggest ordering tickets for another day because of crowds. They are only $12.

Maroon 5 for free at the Fillmore: 1475 Fillmore Center San Francisco, CA
Stop by any AT&T store in San Francisco on November 8th and pick up free tickets to see Maroon 5 in a free concert later that night at the Fillmore! This show is part of a promotion for Windows Mobile 7 phones since AT&T is feeling like a jilted lover now that iPhone is sleeping with Verizon, too.
How to Get Tickets: Visit a participating AT&T store in San Francisco on November 8, 2010. No purchase necessary and you don’t have to be an AT&T subscriber – tickets are available to all. Tickets will be first-come, first-served admission to the concerts on the evening of November 8, 2010.
