By putting these items into my blog I can not only clean up my paper clutter but it also makes it easier for me to look for a gift for others when it comes time to buy one.
Do you have a gardener in your life? Do they spend hours in the garden or have bad knees or a bad back? Having a comfortable seat to do their work from would really help them enjoy what they love. Check these out.
Garden Kneeler/Seat: This one is good for those with a smaller garden and less storage space. It is from Plow and Hearth and it's the Folding Garden Kneeler/Seat. It comes in two sizes: Small, Item# 50736: 24-1/2" x 19-1/4"H for $34.95 or Large, Item# 11513: 24-1/4"W x 12-1/4"D x 19"H for $39.95. If you purchase this now you get a free anniversary tote.
Scoot N Do Caddy: This one also from Plow and Hearth makes rolling around in a larger area very easy. It can also be used a bit like a wagon since you can pull it around and it has a small removable basket for a bit of storage. The Scoot N Do Caddy, Item # 11263 measures 54-1/2"L x 17-3/4"L x 27-1/4"H for $89.95
Solar Pool rings: Right now we have a bubble wrap pool blanket on a large cranking roll. We have yet to roll it over to the pool, put it on and use it. Last time I looked the bubbles were disintegrating and so I don't think it's usable any longer. I originally found these pool rings on line at Solutions but they are no longer available (Item# 83086) but you can find them online at other pool suppliers or I have found them at our local pool store, Leslie's Pool. I haven't bought them yet because of the number I would have to buy, I wonder if I would truly use them and my poor cat has fallen in the pool twice now so I'm a bit afraid to cover the pool unless I watch her. We don't pay to heat our pool so if these solar rings work it would allow us to use our pool more often which would be nice. If I buy them I'll let you know how they work. You can find them for $35-39.95 each or sometimes you can get a discount on 6 or more for as low as $30.00 each.
I have also seen a spa ring that fits a 68"-102" spa for $79.00
Whale Tail Pool Hooks: My pool brush is on the side of the house, more of the hidden working side of the house so I didn't see the need to purchase these expensive fancy hooks for the side yard since no one will see them. But if your pool equipment is visible from your backyard these are the cutest way to hang up your pool brush. Available at Frontgate, Item # 3441 for $75.50 but you need two. Pricey but cute. If you can't afford this then just go to your local hardware store and get two standard hooks like I did.
Garden Stool (or side table): I love this little stool, I would use it as a side table next to a chair or our brick wall bench. I like it because it's functional and decorated and since it's ceramic it's all weather which is nice. I hate having things I need to store elsewhere. You can find this at Home Decorators, Item# 02365 for $99. It comes in turquoise/brown or sable (brown).
Poolside Towel Rack: This is a nice idea for wet or dry towels but at $199 or 229 at Frontgate it's way too expensive and now it's no longer available. You could either make this yourself out of pipes or PVC if your talented or as I did, keep my eye out for a cheaper one. Another options for dry towels is a nice basket and just stick the wet one's in the laundry when done. If it's something you can't live without check out this towel holder from Improvements. It's made of ABS plastic and you fill the base with water or sand to weight it down. Item# 335125 on sale for $24.99 was $39.99
