Wine & Cheese Tasting Party

I have been wanting to have a wine/cheese tasting party.  I would like each person to bring a bottle of wine and a cheese.  I would like them to spend under $20 on the wine so I have been reading up on what are some good cheap wines.  I haven't tried any of these but this is what I've read.  When begin trying some of these I'll let you  know what I think.

  • Domaine Chiroulet Cotes de Gascogne 2010, Les Terres Blanches (France), $12  Perfect Apertif,
  • Crnko-Jarenincan 2010 (Slovenia) $12:  Backbone from the Sauvignon Blanc with peach and cantaloupe character and opulence from the Chardonnay and Riesling.
  • Marcel Lapierre, Raisins Gaulois 2010 (France) $13
  • Quattro Mani Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2009 (Italy) $9.50
