In Search of Happy Hours

Since we are currently without a kitchen, cooking in the garage is no fun and we can't afford to eat out every night we are in hunt of happy hours.  Happy Hour isn't what it use to be where free food was everywhere but you can find cheap food and special drink prices so the hunt begins.

Last year we where going to try all the Taco Tuesdays but after two places we forgot about our adventure so I am bringing it back alive and last night we tried Outpost.  I will update that post as we find more Tuesdays or Thursday tacos and as we find more happy hours I will update this post.

• Elephant Bar:  3-7pm, $4 well, $3 classics, $3 off openers.  As for apps I like to date (Coconut shrimp, Parmesian green beans, chicken tenders, Korean tacos).  Avoid the artichoke dip and the french onion rib eye sliders - didn't care for the sweet bun).
• Fieldhouse:  3-6 M-Thur.  Loved the pretzel with cheese dip $2 and the chicken tacos $2, $4 drafts, $5 well.  Don't care for the wings, too fried for me.
• Outpost:  Drinks Everyday 11-7pm, House Wine and Well Cocktails $4, ALL BEER $3 and Margaritas, Lemon drops, Outpost Raspberry Cosmopolitan $4.  For a call drink (my drink), stop by after 7pm for $5 Fridays.  For food try the $3 specials  Monday - Friday 3pm to 7pm, Basket of fries, Corn Dog Bights, Onion Rings, Chicken Quesadilla Rolls, Mozzarella sticks, Buffalo Wings, Side Salad, Nachos (Regular)

Here are some that we have yet to try but are current possibilities:

• Buffalo Wild Wings:  Wing Tuesday, Boneless Thursdays.  Went the other day after HH was over, they don't carry stolie, strike one, the Asian wings are good but so far two other types are ok (garlic) and not so much (standard hot wings) and the sandwich selection wasn't impressive.  I'll go back and try the happy hour priced food because trying it at regular price wasn't appealing.
• Norms Place:  Happy Hour 3-6pm, $3-$3.50 Beers, $4.25 Well Cocktails, Selected Wines & 10 Apps under $4.99  Football Sundays - $3 Coors Light and Racer 5 Drafts all day long, Great Food Specials, $7 Bloody Mary and Breakfast Sandwich or $10 Bloody Mary and Breakfast Burrito, Taco Tuesday,
• Martini Ski:  3-6pm, $4 beer, $7 select cocktails, $5 small plates
• Tower Grill:   Tower Hour:  Monday-Friday 3pm-4pm $1 Domestic 16oz beer $2 Micro 16oz Beer; Happy Hour Monday-Friday Open-6pm- All Drinks $1 off $6 HAPPY FOOD
  3pm-6pm Tower Meatballs (4) Potato Boats (5) Buffalo Wings (10)Chicken Bites (8)Calamari Garlic Bread & Fries
